PeeWee

 PeeWee - offline password manager

PeeWee is simplistic minimalist offline password saver.

The app is digitized alternative to pin codes and passwords written on paper in your wallet next to your credit card and also a way to store passwords offline in your phone and not send them to 3rd party for "safekeeping".

There are thee main point this app strives to achieve.

  1. Main idea to make PeeWee became obvious after repeatedly observing my closest ones forgetting their passwords or doing unreasonable precautions like writing password on piece of paper and losing it or having written PIN code to their credit or debit cards in their wallets.
  2. Secondary idea is to keep your passwords with you and not sending to some company for safekeeping.
  3. Third main principle behind it is simplicity.

Security concerns

Data are protected by both Android security (no app should access other app's data) and additionally data are encrypted and each user has their own encryption key.

As long as you are not target of some specialized secret agency that would secretly steal and reverse-engineered your phone software, your grandma's favorite social network passwords or your mom's mail logins are encrypted and data can't should not be accessible outside of apps.

App maximally aims at simple to use experience, so even my grandpa can use it. Due that It relies on basic common sense in security measures for your phone, e.g. setting up lock-screen on your phone, not using rooting devices, installing only safe apps from secured sources etc.
